Official Rules

1. Overview

To celebrate reaching 500 followers on Facebook and 500 followers on Instagram, we’re giving away two £100 Amazon vouchers — one lucky winner from each platform will be randomly selected!

2. Eligibility

• Open to UK residents aged 16 or over.

• You must have a valid Facebook and/or Instagram account.

• Participants must follow our official GillyKicksCancer Facebook and/or Instagram page(s).

• Only one entry per person per platform is allowed.

• Entries from duplicate, fake, giveaway-only, or suspicious accounts may be disqualified at our discretion.

• We reserve the right to request proof of age or identity before awarding any prize.

• International Followers Notice:
  While this giveaway is open only to UK residents due to voucher region limitations and prize delivery constraints, we’re incredibly grateful for our international supporters too. If a randomly selected winner is found to reside outside the UK, a new eligible UK-based winner will be selected.

3. How to Enter

• Facebook: Like & Follow our official Facebook page (CLICK HERE), then leave a message for Gilly on the featured GoFundMe post (CLICK HERE) to enter. You must complete both of these tasks to qualify.

• Instagram: Follow our official Instagram page to enter (CLICK HERE)

• Each platform counts as a separate entry.

• Follow both platforms to double your chances – but only one prize per person will be awarded.

• No purchase necessary to enter or win.

• Private accounts must ensure their follow status is visible at the time of the snapshot to be eligible.

• We recommend taking a screenshot of your follow status as proof of entry in case of any disputes.

4. Entry Period

• The giveaway starts on 16 April 2025.

• The Instagram competition ends when we reach 500 followers on Instagram or the 31 July 2025, whichever comes first.

• The Facebook competition ends when we reach 500 followers on Facebook or the 31 July 2025, whichever comes first.

• Instagram follower snapshots and Facebook comment snapshots will be taken immediately after hitting the 500-follower milestone. Any follows or comments made after that moment will not be counted for that platform’s draw.

5. Prize

• Two prizes available:

  • £100 Amazon voucher for one Facebook follower.

  • £100 Amazon voucher for one Instagram follower.

• Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered.

• The winner’s name or social media handle may be shared publicly on our official pages.

• Winners are responsible for any taxes or fees associated with receiving the prize.

• If a prize cannot be delivered due to incorrect contact details or postal issues beyond our control, we are not obligated to reissue it.

6. Winner Selection

• Once 500 followers are reached on a platform:-

  • For Instagram, a snapshot of the followers will be taken using IGFOExport for Instagram​

  • For Facebook, a snapshot of the comments will be extracted manually.

• Only accounts following us at that exact time will be eligible.

• Each eligible entry will be assigned a unique number in a spreadsheet.

• A winner will be selected using Google’s Random Number Generator, matched to the corresponding entry.

• One winner per platform.

7. Winner Notification

• Winners will be contacted via direct message on the platform they followed us on.

• Winners must respond within 72 hours to confirm and claim their prize.

• If a winner does not respond in time, a new winner will be selected using the same method.

• Prizes will be delivered within 7 days of winner confirmation.

• Winners will also be announced via a post on our official Facebook and Instagram pages.

8. Data Protection

• Personal data will be used solely for the purpose of administering the giveaway as specified in our GDPR statement

• We will not share your information with third parties.

• By entering, winners consent to the use of their name or handle for promotion related to this giveaway only.
